Sina "Violet" Waller's Obituary
Sina “Violet” Waller, 76, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, in Amarillo.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, October 27, 2022, in Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis with Corky Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 26th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Violet was born on October 10, 1946, in Morton, TX, to George and Kathleen (Stone) Pierce. She grew up on a farm in the Lakeview/Memphis area and attended Lakeview schools. After graduating, she obtained her CNA certificate and worked in the Hall County Hospital for approximately 20 years. After she moved to Amarillo in 1990, she continued her career in healthcare working for Vibra Hospital for another 30 years.
Violet married Winfred “Charles” Waller in Hall County on November 16th. They had two children together. Her greatest enjoyment in life was taking care of her five grandsons. She loved seeing them every weekend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; her son, Matt Waller; and two sisters, Louis Crone and Nellie Lambert.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Shelly Beam and husband, Brent, of Amarillo; brother, Clenten Pierce and wife Diane; 2 sisters, Naomi Bailey and Liz Denhem; 5 grandsons, Gregory Waller, Kiefer Waller, Cameron Waller and his wife, Jaden, Conner Beam, and Brittain Beam and his wife Tiffany; 3 great-grandchildren, Mady, Caden, and Alexis Beam; and many nieces and nephews.
