Shirley Ann Foster's Obituary
Shirley Ann Foster, 82, of Memphis died Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Memphis.
Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Memphis Church of Christ with Jim Dixon and Mark Lance, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Shirley was born September 26, 1936 in Donley County, Texas to Albert and Celeste Brown Ward. She married Tommy Foster on March 7, 1959 in Memphis. She had been a lifetime resident of Hall County and was a Nurse’s Aide prior to her retirement. She also loved to cook. Shirley loved her kids, grandkids, and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on March 17, 2014.
Survivors include 2 sons, Joe Foster of Carrizozo, New Mexico and Larry Foster and wife Sherree of Memphis; a daughter, Shelly Fuston and husband Rex of Turkey; a brother, Albert Ward of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Willie Mae Maddox and husband Oscar of Memphis, Marie Davis of Vega, Henrietta Montgomery of Childress, and Carolyn Shults of Clarendon; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; an aunt, Dorothy Weddle of Arlington; a brother in law, Billy Foster and wife Cindy of Memphis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family request memorials be sent to the Memphis Convalescent Center in Memphis.
