Shirley Jean Drew's Obituary
Shirley Jean Drew, 74, of Memphis died Monday, January 17, 2022 in Childress.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Judge Smith, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
In the year of 1947 on November 23rd Shirley Jean Sterling was born to the parents of Rosie Lee Williams and Hayman Sterling. Shirley attended the Morningside School and she was a faithful Usher. She enjoyed dancing, puzzle's, coloring books, cooking, and enjoying laughing with her family and friends.
On January 17th 2022 Shirley Departed this life leaving behind to cherish her memories seven children Donald Drew Jr., James Drew, Ray Don Drew, Janet Drew, Lisa Walker, Delores Drew and Willie Drew. Twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren. Nine Siblings Joyce Session, Melody Steptoe, Brenda Matthews, Sandy Richardson, Donnie Asberry, Ray Asberry, Eddie Williams, Micheal Knox, and Jessie Jenkins and a very special and loving loved one Henry Garrett. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her soul mate Willie Thomas and two sisters; Sue and Edna Williams.
Shirley Jean Sterling Drew will be truly missed.
