Sherry was born in Liberal, KS, on November 19th, 1951, and was a graduate of Liberal High School. At the age of 16 she began working for the United States Postal Service and made it her career for well over 40 years.
Over those 40 years she was assigned more responsibility and in 1991 accepted the duties of US Postmaster in Shamrock. That is how she arrived in Shamrock and over the years she came to love the town and the community, making it her home. After retirement she went on to have a second career as a real estate agent. What she loved most was interacting with people in her community.
Sherry served the Lord in a very big way. She was very involved in all aspects of the church and she loved cooking for any occasion that included the church. Sherry loved her sisters in Christ so much. She was always ready to help do anything that needed to be done.
She is survived by her husband, Conny Palmer of Shamrock, her daughter Randi Markala Quinones of Sanford, NC, her son Ryan Michael Davis of Canyon, Texas, her daughter Jan Hill and son Jerry Palmer. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jade Markala Davis, Stevie Rose Davis, Traton Charles Davis, Riley Palmer, Hayden Palmer, Belle Smith, Bucki Smith, Lyndsi Hill, Trint Hill, and Brady Hill.
