Shelly Campbell's Obituary
Shelly Consuelo Campbell, 62, was promoted to glory Sunday, August 23, 2020 at her home in Claude.
Graveside Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 29, 2020 in Claude Cemetery with Pastor Mike Cortines, officiating.
An open viewing will be from 12:00-4:00 PM and closed only for family from 4:00-6:00 PM Friday at Robertson Claude Chapel.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Shelly was born July 26, 1958 in San Benito, TX, to Henry and Elvira Renaud Aguilar. She married Wayne Campbell on February 12, 1994 in Amarillo. Shelly dedicated her life to spreading the word of Christ as a pastor and missionary in Mexico for 15 years. Shelly also worked as a bank officer for Bank of America in Amarillo for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Matthew Ewing, and Adam Wayne Campbell; a daughter, Sarah Lee Campbell; and a granddaughter, Carolyn Adele Harper.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Campbell of Claude; three daughters, Demetria Harper and husband Russel of Krum; Shae Lee Schafer and husband Connor of Abilene, and Miranda Ballard and husband Zach of White Deer; two brothers, Michael Aguilar of Harlingen, and Henry Aguilar of McCallen; five sisters, Michelle Tussey and husband James of Keller, Pam Barrow of New Braunfels, Diane Gutierrez of Houston, Belinda Muñoz of Harlingen, and Brenda Garza of Harlingen; 8 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Shelly was a mentor, a spiritual mom to many and loved very deeply. She will be terribly missed. The family requests instead of memorials please join us in prayer.
