Sharwyn "Red" A. Watson's Obituary
SHAMROCK SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in the Bible Baptist Church in Shamrock, with Tony Gonzales, Sr., officiating. INTERMENT - Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock Arrangments are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Red was born June 23, 1943 in Texarkana, Texas to Cecil and Ouida Mae Townsend Miller. She had been a nurse at the Shamrock General Hospital as well as the nursing home before becoming a full time painter. She loved creating yard decorations and spending time with her six dogs. Since moving from Memphis, Texas, Red has spent the last thirty eight years in Shamrock. She was a Baptist. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents SURVIVORS - her son, Rickey Watson of Shamrock; three daughters, Carrie Jean Joyce & husband Tony of Shamrock, Annette Gonzales and husband Tony, Jr. of Tulia, Ouida Chase and husband Roger of Wellman, Texas; a brother, Cecil “Sonny“ Miller of Longview, Texas; 3 sisters, Jean Hunt of Gaston, Oregon, Rita Bingham of Medford, Oregon, Nancy Miller of McNeil, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Gene Joyce, Joey Joyce, Justin Watson, Renee Watson, Breanne Dominguez, Amanda Gartner, Kent Chase, Rebekah Chase, Kaleb Chase, Kolby Chase; and four Great Grandchildren.
