Samuel David Helton, 72, of Allison died Thursday, April 16, 2020 in Allison.
Private graveside services will be Monday, April 20, 2020 in Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe.
Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Due to the COVID mandates, we are only allowing 5 people to enter the funeral home at a time.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Sam was born August 7, 1947 in Wheeler to George and Cora Hall Helton. He had been a resident of Allison since 2005. He had worked with his excavator, building swimming pools in Arizona. He liked fishing, hunting, and enjoyed visiting his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Monroe Helton, John Helton, and Steve Helton; and 3 sisters, Mary Esther Helton, Minnie Southern, and Ruth David.
Survivors include his four daughters, Tanya Brookshire and husband Ralph, Jill Arballo and husband Adam, Christina Helton, and Mary Esther Helton; 2 brothers, Pat Helton and wife Alberta, and Perry Helton and wife Paula; a sister, Irene Snider; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
