Sammy Aguilar's Obituary
Sammy Aguilar, 71, of Memphis, died on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Amarillo.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the United Pentecostal Church in Memphis with Rev. Brett Prince, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the funeral home in Memphis from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Sammy was born on September 27, 1947 in Llano, TX to Frank and Soledad Longoria Aguilar. He married Maria Gonzalez on June 15, 1970 in Memphis. He was a lifetime resident of Memphis and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and shooting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Paul Aguilar and Martin Aguilar; and 3 sisters Fransica Moreno, Margarit Sanche, and Maria Aguilar.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Aguilar of Memphis; 2 brothers Pete Aguilar of Childress and Juanito and wife Elva Aguilar of Edinburg; and 1 sister Patricia and husband Beto Nieto of Edinburg.
