CLARENDON GRAVESIDE SERVICES - 11:00 AM Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Rev. Lance Wood, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Ruth Hutson was born August 5, 1922 in Lakeview, Texas to George Andrew and Martha Jane Hahn Fowler. She had lived on the farm at Lelia Lake before moving to Clarendon in 1963. She married Freddie Lawrence Hutson on September 14, 1946 in Memphis, Texas. She had been a housewife and also had been a member of the Rebekah Lodge #149 in Clarendon, where she served as the Noble Grand for over ten years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband Freddie Hutson on May 19, 1992; a son, Jimmy Hutson on April 24, 2012; by all 5 of her sisters; and by a great-great grandson, Dakota Large. SURVIVORS – her son, Kenneth “Shorty” Hutson and wife Lois of Hereford, Texas; a daughter, Patsy Havens of Clarendon; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family request memorials be sent to the Donley County Senior Citizens or Odyssey Hospice.
