We grew up as neighbors and Ruth and Evelyn were my "sisters". Life got in the way and we were not close after we all left Claude but I loved seeing Ruth when we could. The last time I saw her she gave my family a private tour of her beloved museum and then a wonderful lunch. Such a fun day!
May the Lord bless you and keep you, Ruth, and your wonderful girls and their families.

Ruth was a lovely lady, and a good friend. She was a good friend of a cousin of mine, and we considered her almost a relative. She contributed a lot to her community and will be greatly missed by many, many people. I always enjoyed being with Ruth. I regret that I have been ill for the last ten days and have not been able to visit her lovely family. I send my love and condolences.
I'm so very sorry for your loss.
My memory is very special. When I was in high school in Claude, Ruth was my home economics teacher. She was a beautiful lady and great teacher. Then when I moved to Clarendon I worked with her on the Museum Board. She was very dedicated to the museum and all that we did. I will miss her.
