CLARENDON SERVICES - 10:00 am on Monday, May 10, 2010 in the Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories in Clarendon with Don Stone and Chris Moore, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Rudy was born June 13, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Robert Ray and Jewel Alene Taylor Partain. He had been a welder and had worked for Bell Helicopter and ASARCO. He also loved to make things. He was an US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Rudy was a member of the Clarendon Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents, and a brother, R.E. Partain. SURVIVORS - 2 sons, Rick Partain and wife Shelly of Katy, and Rod Partain and wife Stephanie of Canyon; a sister, Roberta Kime and fiance Marvin Sartin of Clarendon; 3 grandchildren, Bryton, Zachary, and Avery; his niece, Jamie Kime and family of Amarillo; and nephews, Cecil Ray Mills and family of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Richard Mills and family of Lamar, Oklahoma. MEMORIALS - The family requests that memorials be to the Citizens Cemetery Association / PO Box 983 / Clarendon, Texas 79226, High Plains Childrens Home, or the Alzheimer‘s Association.
