Ruby Nell Bradstreet's Obituary
Ruby Nell Garner Bradstreet who liked to be called Nell, Granny, Granny Grunt, and Queen B, was born on August 4, 1929, to Charlie and Alice Garner. She was one of nine children. Nell passed away in the home of her daughter in Wheeler, Texas, on December 3, 2021 and went to her heavenly home, at the age of 92.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, December 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler with Rev. Larry Mitchell, officiating.
Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 9th from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Nell married Roy Marvin Bradstreet on November 8, 1947. Nell and Roy had six children. They lacked less than a month being married 70 years when Roy passed away on October 13, 2013. They had a wonderful long and loving life together. Nell loved to fish, camping for months at a time, and above all, loved her kids and grandkids.
Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bradstreet; son, Mike Bradstreet; daughter, Kathy Janzen; baby daughter, Tina Dawn; and several siblings and loved ones.
Nell is survived by her oldest son, David Bradstreet of Wolfe City, TX; son, Wesley Bradstreet and wife, Cindy, of Wheeler, TX; daughter, Debbie Glazner of Wheeler, TX; son-in-love, Paul Janzen of Salida, CO; daughter-in-love, Jan Bradstreet of Edmond, OK; sister, Betty McCoy of Weslaco, TX; 92 year old twins, lifetime friends, and sisters-in-love, Floy Larkin and Joy Garrison both of Lake Jackson, TX; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her like a mother and granny.
