Royce was born May 23, 1942 in Stratford, Texas to John Alexander and Sybil Dayle Flores Boney. Royce's main job was a Mother. At one time, she held 3 jobs to make sure her kids were taken care of. She loved her family with everything she had. She was an excellent cook. Royce gained her cooking skills from her mother in law who was also her best friend. She loved working in her yard. She could be found most days during the spring and summer out digging weeds. She took great pride in her beautiful yard. Royce loved horses and dogs. She went 3 times a day to the horse barn to clean stalls, feed, and did anything else that needed to be done. She hauled 3 kids in a 4 door dually pulling a 4 horse trailer so all of her kids could compete at horse shows. Royce was an amazing grandmother. She loved watching kids and grandkids play golf. She always had the very best snacks for all the golfers and their families. In the later years of her life, her greatest joy was spending time with her great grandbabies. She loved hearing about all of their adventures and what new tricks they had learned. Her face would light up anytime they would come for a visit. Royce never met a stranger and was a caregiver to everyone she loved. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Memphis.
