McLEAN SERVICES- 2:00 PM Monday, August 3, 2009 in the First Baptist Church in McLean with Bobby Richardson, son, officiating. INTERMENT- Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Mr. Richardson was born October 8, 1943 in Shamrock to Thomas Grady and Maggie Teresa Bearden Richardson. Except for 21 years in Lubbock, he had been a resident of the McLean area most of the rest of his life. He married Mary Lou Cooper on February 17, 1962 at McLean. He had worked as a mechanic most of his life. He was a charter member and for more than 10 years a member of the Lubbock Trail Riders. He was a former member of the McLean Volunteer Fire Dept, the McLean Golf Assn., and a volunteer with the McLean EMS. he had been a school bus driver for the McLean schools and was a member of the Southwest Towing Assn., He was a Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents, 2 sons, Kenneth and Terry; and 2 sisters, Doris Locke and Joy Cooper. SURVIVORS - his wife, Mary of McLean; 2 sons, Bobby Richardson and wife Missie of McLean, Carey Richardson and wife Shatrel of McLean; a daughter in law, Jackie Richardson of McLean; 3 brothers, Harold Richardson of Oklahoma City, OK, James Richardson of Tuscumbia, AL, Virgil Richardson of Ft. Worth; and grandchildren, Zane Richardson and wife Lora, Zach Richardson, Camrynn Richardson, Kendra Richardson, Kendalyn Richardson, Sara Richardson, riley Richardson, Dalton Richardson, and Lauren Richardson; as well a as many other family members and friends.
