SERVICES- 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2008, in the First Baptist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Derwin Comer, of Wellington & Rev. Roger Smith, Pastor of the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, officiating.
INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Ross was born March 14, 1935, in Sunset, Texas to Olen T. and Nola Beatrice Lorrance Hill. He married Robbie Lou Johnson on June 12, 1959 in Clarendon. He had been a lifetime resident of Clarendon before moving to Amarillo 2 years ago. He was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; 2 brothers, Nolen Hill & Orin Lee Hill; a sister, Nita Fancher; and a grandson, Michael Harlan.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE- his wife, Robbie Hill of Amarillo; a son, Bryan Hill and wife Tina of Amarillo; a daughter, Millie Barnett and husband Keith of Amarillo; a brother, Ralph Hill of Clarendon; 4 grandchildren, Tristan Hill of Dallas, Tashina Roper of California, Lesley Lemons of Amarillo, & Robby Barnett of Amarillo; 2 great grandchildren, & 2 great grandchildren on the way.
MEMORIALS - The family requests that memorials be to Citizens Cemetery Association / PO Box 983 / Clarendon, Texas 79226 or Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday at Panhandle Community Services in Clarendon located on South Kearney.
