Rose Wynelle Richards' Obituary
AMARILLO
MEMORIAL SERVICE - 10:30 am Friday, February 15, 2013 in the St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Amarillo with Dr. Stan Cosby, pastor, and Rev. Ken Cole, associate pastor, officiating.
Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Wynelle was born April 21, 1942 in Groom, Texas to Joseph and Myrtle Pope Dilli. In the 50’s, Wynelle and her family moved to Amarillo from Clarendon. She married Gary Richards on August 12, 1960 in Amarillo. Mrs. Richards worked for Amarillo ISD as a school secretary at Windsor Elementary and was a lifetime member of the PTA. She enjoyed gardening, and spent numerous hours volunteering at St. Stephen United Methodist Church in the library and helped prepare meals when needed, especially on Wednesday nights. Wynelle was a member of the St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Amarillo.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; and her brother, Joe Wayne Dilli.
SURVIVORS – her husband, Gary Richards of Amarillo; 2 sons, T. Sean Richards and wife Tiffany of Greenfield, Indiana, D. Lance Richards and wife Tiffany of Amarillo; sister-in-law, Ladelle Cox Dilli of Fort Morgan, Colorado; and four grandchildren, Megan, Justis, Navy, and Titan Richards.
The family request memorials be sent to St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Amarillo.
