Rose Hefley, 99, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and formerly of Shamrock died Monday, May 27, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2019 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Rose was born January 22, 1920 in Twitty, Wheeler County, Texas to James Andrew and Mittie Ferguson Welch. She married William Richard “Billy” Hefley on October 27, 1937. She had been a resident of Shamrock most of her life and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 4 brothers.
She is survived by a son, Gerry Hefley of Choctaw, Oklahoma; a daughter, Joy Balcom of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
