Roper T. Nathon Copelin passed away at the Burn Unit at UMC in Lubbock, Texas, on January 22nd, 2017, after suffering injuries due to an accident at work. Born in Graham, Texas on June 3rd, 1986, he was a resident of Amarillo and grew up in the Clarendon and Hedley area. Roper was an aspiring electrician at A-1 Electric. Roper’s dedication to his job, quick-wit, and independent nature will be what those who loved him will remember about him the most.
SURVIVORS - his parents, Ernie and Tangela Copelin of Hedley, his sister Jaci Kittley and her husband Kade of McLean, his brother Reid Copelin and his wife Candice of Panhandle, his niece and nephew, Elli and Emmitt Kittley, Grandparents, Wayne and Joan Copelin of Clarendon, Marion and Glenda Martin of Dumas, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from all over the United States.
MEMORIALS - In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to the Keath Garrison family at 4311 S. Van Buren in Amarillo, Texas. The family is very grateful for all of the prayers sent on behalf of Roper, and would appreciate continued prayers for his boss, Keath, who was also involved in the incident.
