SERVICES- 2:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the Calvary Christian Fellowship Church in Shamrock with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating.
INTERMENT- Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Ronda was born November 29, 1957 in Longview to Charles M. and Betty L. Brooks. Ronda’s life was centered around her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She had been a nurse for more than 20 years. She was a natural-born caregiver and it showed in her chosen profession. She had been a resident of Shamrock since 1980. She loved the outdoors and fishing. Ronda’s favorite holiday was Easter.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her grandparents; and a sister, Ramona.
SURVIVORS – 4 children, Michael Shortnacy and wife Eva, Jeff Shortnacy and wife Marjie, Lisa Stewart, and Laura Thomas and husband Chris Thomas all of Shamrock; 9 grandchildren, Korbyn, Jeff, Kanyon, Payton, Cherish, Marshall, Micah, Michael, and Cody; 2 brothers, Charlie Brooks and wife Barbara of Hurst, and Kenneth Brooks and wife Debbie of Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Charlotte Brooks of Springtown, Charlotte English and husband Doug of Sherman, and Dana Kidd of Shamrock; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and too many friends to name.
MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be sent to the League House of Amarillo.
