Robert was born September 17, 1925 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Henry and Geneva Dudley Parker. He married Georgia Ella Mathes and later Pam Nation. Robert lived in Pampa, Texas many years and later resided in Pratt, KS until his death. He worked in the oil fields, did carpentry, owned a bait shop, and did foundry work. He was a WWII Army Veteran, serving in Okinawa. He loved to fish and was an avid rock hound.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; a son, Bobby Parker, two grandsons, Gabriel Lee Sappington, and Zachary Ty Cross; and 7 siblings.
SURVIVORS- his children; June Parker of Lockhart, TX; Carol Cocke and husband Jim of Goodnight, TX; Ellen Hightower and husband Lee of Kilgore, TX; Jane Porter and husband Alex of Lockhart, TX; Patricia Allbright and husband Monte of Jacksonville. TX; Sherry Parker of Nacogdoches, TX; Randy Parker Nation of Wichita, KS; and Jeremy Parker of Lawrence, KS; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
