Rita Sue Fielding Goffinet's Obituary
MEMPHIS SERVICES- will be Private. INTERMENT- Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Viewing will be from Noon to 6:00 pm Sunday with family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Rita was born July 7, 1958 in Groom to Paul and Ruby Neel Fielding. She married Dan Goffinet on January 9, 1999 in Childress. She had been a resident of Memphis the past 10 years and was involved in the Fairview Cemetery Association. She was a devoted wife, daughter, and sister. She was Pentecostal and sang Gospel for several nursing homes. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- her father, Paul Fielding in 2006; her grandparents; and an uncle. SURVIVORS- her husband, Dan Goffinet of Memphis; her mother, Ruby Fielding of Quail; 2 brothers, Ralph Fielding of Quail and Jarrell Fielding and wife Donna of Brenham; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the Fairview Cemetery Association in Memphis.
