I never got to see Ricky often, only saw him 3 times, twice in dollar general once in Lowe's, if I had the choice to go back and spend one day with someone, I would choose Ricky, I may not have known him much but he will forever be in my heart.
When I was a teen living in Clarendon Texas Rick would take me to concerts often and we had some of the best experiences at those shows. One that stands out was the Van Halen 1980 Invasion Tour, we were right up front on Eddies side of the stage the whole show and it was amazing! I still remember the genuine happiness on Rickys face when they played LIGHT UP THE SKY on that hot night in Amarillo. That memory of my cousin (among many others) will always stay with me
