He was a truck driver for almost 40 years, hitting the million mile mark for one of the companies he drove for. When he wasn’t in and out of Loves, Pilots, and Flying J’s, he lived in Hedley Tx, with his wife Connie Burnam of 33 years. After following her home like a pup in January, they married in August of 1989. He was a loving father to his 4 girls, but had many other chosen kids. Ricks hobby was family, he enjoyed taking Connie to many concerts, and always anticipating the next road trip or adventure she could find. Rick spent a majority of his time out on the road, but always prioritized to come home monthly for his family dinners or gatherings. Family always came first to him, so he always insisted there was yearly family reunions.
