He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Maxwell Buxton; and left behind his father, Jerry Buxton, of Perryton, TX; 2 sisters, Rebecca O'Dell of Pampa, TX and Stacey Ray of McKinney, TX; 2 children, Justin O'Dell of El Paso, TX & Trishia O'Dell of Amarillo, TX; and 5 grandchildren.
Richie attended grades 1-12 and graduated from Perryton High School.
