Richard Nathan "Lumpy" Kindle's Obituary
Richard Nathan “Lumpy” Kindle of Shamrock, TX passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 in Shamrock at the age of 44 years, 9 months and 16 days. A family-led Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Trinity Worship Center in Childress, TX with Ronnie Shoffner officiating.
Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors in Shamrock, TX.
Richard was born on February 18, 1978 in Childress, TX to Richard and Robbie Albright Kindle. He grew up in Childress and graduated from Childress High School in 1996. After graduating, he moved to Paducah, TX. He met the love of his life, Eva Shortnacy, in 2015. He then moved to Shamrock, TX, where he lived until his death. Richard was talented in many ways, especially as a carpenter and painter. Though sometimes hard-headed and loud, he was always a daddy’s boy and one of the kindest persons you could know. He had a big heart, laughed a lot and was known for giving great hugs. He enjoyed many different activities, including cooking, bird hunting, fishing and reading, especially Stephen King novels. He held a special bond with his mother and he loved all his family dearly.
Preceding him in death were: his grandparents, Jack and Eunice Kindle and Joann Albright; and his mother-in-law, Mary Garza.
Richard is survived by: his parents, Richard and Robbie Kindle of Childress, TX; his wife, Eva Shortnacy of Shamrock; his children, Jaden Waller and husband, Cameron of Memphis, TX, Miranda Kindle and fiancé, Cameron of Childress, TX, Skylar Kindle of Lubbock, TX, Payton Garza, Micah Shortnacy and Bubba Shortnacy, all of Shamrock; his sister, Jennifer Kindle of Wichita Falls, TX; his grandchildren, Saylie, Kai and Mason Kindle, all of Oklahoma; one grandchild on the way; his nieces and nephews, Morgan Kindle, Derek Sanchez, Chasity Prentice, Madison Prentice and Jaylin Prentice, all of Childress; and numerous other family members and friends.
