McLEAN SERVICES - 2:00 pm Friday, January 30, 2009 in First Baptist Church in McLean with Bryan Quisenberry, officiating. INTERMENT - Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Reo Bailey Dennis, 22 of McLean, TX and Philadelphia, PA was taken from this world on January 24, 2009 in Philadelphia. Reo was born on February 25, 1986 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He attended the K-5th grade in Breckenridge, TX. He moved to McLean in the 6th grade and attended McLean schools until his high school graduation in 2004. He then moved to Philadelphia where he lived until the time of his death. Reo attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia and was scheduled to graduate this year with a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts and Animation. He was an avid skateboarder who prided himself not only in his athletic abilities but also the artistic flare of his boards. Reo had a achieved a 1st degree black belt in Shotakan karate, Ju-Jitzu and Japanese Kenpo. He was also practicing the arts of Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Boxing and Tae Kwon Do. He loved teaching his family and friends his moves. He was also a member of the Black Student Union and competed in many dance competitions with the group. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Bybee; grandmother, Jana Heasley; great-grandparents Dolph and Edna Dennis, K.O. and Jean Myers, Reo and Audra Heasley, Emma Louise and Lester Davis and Evelyn Graham. He is survived by his parents, Sammy and Vonda Averett of McLean, and Lee and Nicole Dennis of Philip, South Dakota; Three sisters, Kalyn Averett of McLean, Samantha Averett of Breckenridge, TX, and Danna Dennis of Owasso, OK; two brothers, Pedro and Victor Dennis of Philip, South Dakota; grandparents, Sonie Bybee of McLean, George and Shirley Dennis of Philip, S.D., Bill Heasley of Wichita Falls, TX, and Charles and Hazel Averett of Breckenridge, TX; and great granddad Pete Graham of Tucumcari, NM, and many many friends in both McLean and Philadelphia. The family will receive visitors at 213 W. 2nd St in McLean on Thursday.
