Sorry for your family's loss,my grandpaw was good friends with RB, my grandpaw was in maintanace at Groom hospital, i would come to groom in the summers spend time with grand parents.lot of time at hospital were i got to know RB. he was a very fine MAN Rest in peace Dear RB
R.B. Thornton was a great man who set an excellent example of humility, simplicity, and living "the good life" without all the frills and luxuries that most people take for granted. I do not recall ever seeing him in a bad mood or hearing him speak ill of his fellow man. I am grateful to have known him for 25 years and proud that my six children knew him as their "pa."I know his reunion with Lynn was a joyous occasion that will endure in eternity. Rest in Peace R.B. and may the Lord's perpetual light shine upon you.
What a wonderful man with wonderful stories!!! I feel blessed to have made friends with the Thornton family!!
