Ray was born August 8, 1937 in Grand Junction, Colorado to William and Ethal Coffee Smith. He resided in Clarendon the past 22 years, moving from Hedley. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hedley.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents
SURVIVORS- 4 sisters, Jean Smith of Clarendon, Ann Robinson of Clarendon, Nell Mask of Roswell, New Mexico, and twin sister Gay Cochran of Amarillo.
