Randy Longoria Flores' Obituary
Randy Longoria Flores, 62, of Memphis, TX passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 12, 2025 at First Methodist Church Memphis with Rev. Stan Cosby officiating. Viewing will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 8:30 – 10:30 AM.
Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Randy was born on March 12, 1963 in Anson, TX to Rufino and Manuela (Longoria) Flores. He was one of ten children. Randy moved to Memphis when he was 15 years old and he has been a resident ever since. Randy has been a lifelong farmer working in the cotton industry. He was very hardworking and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. One of Randy’s greatest attributes was his love for his children and family.
Randy was an avid sports fan who loved the Kansas City Chiefs, tennis, and following his children and grandchildren to all their sporting events. He enjoyed riding around town, fishing, and cooking. If you knew Randy, you have probably been called "Grasshopper" which also became his nickname in Memphis. Randy was a faithful member of First Methodist Church in Memphis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufino and Manuela (Longoria) Flores; and three brothers, Ruben, Francisco, and Alejandro Flores.
Survivors include his two sons, Aaron Flores (Megan) of Wichita Falls, and Adrian Flores of Memphis; two daughters, Melissa DeLeon of Vernon, and Sophie Flores of Memphis; three sons he raised as his own, Bobby, Ozzy and Felix Morquecho; five brothers, Ines Flores (Donna) of Coppers Cove, TX , Larry Flores (Mary Ann) of Sweetwater, TX, David Flores, Thomas Flores, and Robert Flores (Betty), all of Merkel, TX; sister, Mary Flores of Abilene; five grandchildren, Kamry DeLeon (Kyler), Devin DeLeon, Marcus DeLeon, and Noah, Jonah, and Ezra Flores; and numerous nieces and nephews.
