Perry Allen Beville's Obituary
PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KANSAS SERVICES- Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2005 in the Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Rev. Tom Garmon, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Pat Beville, a retired IBM sales executive, was born November 19, 1914 in Clarendon to Lelia Ross Beville, and Harwood Beville. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1939 with a degree in Business. As a Major in the US Army's 90th infantry division, he landed on Normandy Beach on D-Day. Throughout his life he lived in Clarendon, Amarillo, Dallas, and Beaumont, TX, Armonk, NY, Wichita, KS, and Prairie Village, KS. He was active in the Leawood Lions Club, The Masonic Lodge, Town & Country Investment Club, St. Lukes Cardiac Rehab, and Village Presbyterian Church. In 1955 he became one of the first owners of the original Ford Thunderbird. This began one of his lifetime passions of owning and driving Ford Thunderbirds. Pat's positive attitude and friendly personality was an inspiration to everyone he associated with, whether for a few minutes or for many years, and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- 2 Wives, Bernice C. Beville in 1974 and by Mary Lou Beville in 2003, and 2 brothers, John Ross Beville and Ross Hardwood Beville. SURVIVORS - a son, Don Ross Beville and wife Gayle Lamborn Beville, of Colleyville, TX; 2 grandsons, Kevin Patrick Beville and Brandon Cole Beville, of Colleyville, TX.
