Penny Darlene Black's Obituary
Penny Darlene Black, 57, of Memphis, died on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in McKinney.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the First Assembly of God in Memphis with Rev. Dale Griswold, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Penny was born on May 5, 1961 in Memphis to James “Chubby” Rayford and Lela Fay Garrison Waddill. She was resident of Memphis for most of her life where she attended the Assembly of God Church and worked as a nurse at the Memphis Convalescent Center. She was a great mom, enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family. She loved Jesus. She loved everyone and was loved by everyone.
Survivors include her parents Chubby and Lela Waddill of Memphis; 2 sons James Haggard and wife Adrena of Lamesa and Donald Bristol and wife Nina of Memphis; a daughter Lamanda Chewning and husband Taylor of Lamesa; a sister Jerri Reichert and husband Dusty of Leonard; and 8 grandchildren Jace, Aspen, Jayden, Kinley, Micah, Liam, Andy, and Oktober.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
