Peggy Lynn Sparks' Obituary
Peggy Lynn Sparks, 71, of Idalou died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Idalou.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis with Rev. Jackie Blum, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Peggy was born on February 8, 1947 in Lakeview to Lasco and Mildred Bailey Wiginton. She married Teddy Sparks on June 6, 1965 in Lakeview. She was a resident of Lakeview before moving to Idalou in 1976. She enjoyed gardening, reupholstering furniture, and collecting antiques.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers Jack, Ray, Bob, and Danny; and four sisters Joy, April, Sybil, and Rebecca.
Survivors include her sons Jack Sparks and wife Theresa of Ransom Canyon and Michael Sparks and wife Denise of Idalou; two brothers Joe Sparks and wife Judy of Florida and Gail Sparks and wife Carol of Florida; a sister Betty Chenoweth and husband Paul of San Antonio; seven grandchildren Tyler, Meagan, Dakota, Ashley, Whitney, Amanda, and Jeff; and two great-grandchildren Nolan and Jax.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be sent to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or Lakeview Cemetery.
