Peggy June Van Huss Simpson's Obituary
Peggy June Van Huss Simpson, 63, of McLean died Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Dallas.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean with Clay Reynolds and Thacker Haynes, officiating.
Viewing will be held Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Peggy was born September 18, 1958 in Pampa to George Perry Van Huss and Martha Lorine Riemer Van Huss. She married Danny Wayne Simpson on June 19, 1977 in Lela, Texas. She has been a resident of McLean most of her life. She was a nurse for 39 years. She loved going to Africa on mission trips to help with orphan kids. She was an amazing cook and baker. She enjoyed reading her Bible, and loved being with her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on January 18, 2005; a brother; a sister; and two nephews.
Survivors include her son Daniel Simpson and wife Crissy of McLean; her daughter, Delinda Allen of McLean; her brothers, Curtis Van Huss of Bixby, Oklahoma and Calvin Van Huss of Austin, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Caden, Malanee, Brynlee, Carlee, and Easton; and several nieces and nephews.
