Paula Joyce Brown, 55, of Groom, Texas spread her angel wings and flew home to Heaven June 17, 2015. She was born July 13, 1959 in Brownfield to Lillian and Arthur Brown, Sr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Groom. She loved and served her Lord with her whole heart. Paula volunteered at the Mothers Day out at the Church and assisted at the Groom school with the elementary kids. All of the kids knew her as Aunt Paula. She took care of so many nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kids throughout the years, teaching them, guiding them and loving them all. She could always be seen scooting around Groom with one or more kids in tow heading to the store, library, or park. Always ready to help those who needed her.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; and a sister, Ellen Mason.
SURVIVORS – her brothers, Raymond Brown and wife Dee of Groom, Art Brown of Snyder, Jimbo Brown of Shallowater, and Scott Brown and wife Pam of Amarillo; her sisters, Jeanie Wakefield and husband Bobby of El Reno, Oklahoma, and Neva Cheng and husband Marn of El Dorado, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and was loved by all who knew her.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the Groom Ambulance Service, First Baptist Church of Groom, or the Groom Lions Club.
