Paul Archie Millet's Obituary
Memorial Service will be held at a later date. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Paul was born August 27, 1931 in Provo, Utah, to Archie and Wanda Thomas Millet. He graduated from Provo High School in 1950. He enlisted in the Air Force and attended training in Shreveport, LA, where he met JoAnn Porter from Wheeler, who he married. He was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, where their son, San, was born. After his military service, Paul lived in Provo and Las Vegas, NV before moving to Wheeler in the late 1950’s. While living in Wheeler he operated the family sand and gravel business and ranched; then later worked for Natural Gas Pipeline. In 1976, he married Jean Lay and relocated to work for Burlington Railroad in Amarillo, who he retired with in 1992. He returned to Wheeler in 2008. Paul was an avid gold enthusiast and was always happy to spend his time panning for gold. He was a Master Mason and a member of Wheeler Lodge #1099. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his son, San; and his sister, Kay Fraughton or Orem, UT. Paul is survived by his daughter, Georgann Rion, of Wheeler; a granddaughter, Erica Burrell, of Bozeman, Mt.; a grandson, Jordan Burrell, of Shamrock; a sister, Karen Zobell of Orem, Utah and many nieces and nephews.
