SERVICES - 11:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Robertson Funeral Directors Route 66 Chapel in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes, officiating.
INTERMENT- with US Army Honors will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Paul was born March 10, 1941 in Collingsworth County, Texas to Charles Haskell “Hack“ and Betty Dunn McCurley. He married Nina Simpson on November 7, 1980 in Deming, New Mexico. He was a US Army veteran. He was a talented woodworker, craftsman, and handyman. He also grew the best watermelons and other produce. He also loved fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He was Church of Christ.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; his wife; a brother, Charles McCurley; and a sister, Martha Jo Bailey.
SURVIVORS: a son, Col. Ty Bonner and wife Kimberly of Kansas City, Missouri; 2 daughters, Glenda Hadley and husband Rick of Amarillo and Jennifer Werenskjold and husband Ryan of Ogden, Utah; 3 sisters, Texetta Tarbet and husband Cottie of Shamrock, Lynda Butt of Clayton, New Mexico, and Barbara Schnieder and husband Bob of Canyon; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Anita Maxwell of Durant, Oklahoma.
