SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Shamrock with Pastor Rob Sandley, officiating.
INTERMENT- Pakan Cemetery in Pakan.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Paul was born November 22, 1931 in Pakan to Bessie and Paul Macina, Sr. He was a Texas State National Guard veteran where he obtained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He had been a lifetime resident of Pakan area and was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Shamrock Sheriff’s Posse, Pakan Cemetery Association, National Rifle Association, Texas State Rifle Association, Texas Farm Bureau state director, and was Chairman of the Wheeler County Soil and Water Conservation Board. He was an active fisherman and domino player. He loved spending time with friends and family.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; and 2 brothers, Dan and Bob Macina.
SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Mike Macina and wife Kassie and Nathan Macina and wife Lexi all of Shamrock; 2 daughters, Kimberly Bonner and husband Ty of Edmond, Oklahoma and Haley Macina of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Helen Cullers and Tina Anderson both of Wichita Falls; and 7 grandchildren.
MEMORIALS: The family request memorials be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church in Shamrock or American Heart Association.
