Paul was an accomplished member of his community. He served on the School Board, was a scout master and enjoyed coaching little league in his spare time. He was a Master in the Masons and an Eastern Star Worthy Patron. Paul loved to create wooden masterpieces for his grandchildren and was very proud of a treehouse that was lovingly crafted with the help of his beloved grandchildren. Most recently, Paul enjoyed watching his great-grandchild Ashlynn show her prized Miniature Herefords.
Paul’s loved ones reflect on his steadfast dedication to his family. He lost his father at the tender age of seven and prematurely began sharing the responsibility of the household. He sacrificed much, putting aside his own needs and ambitions to ensure his family never went without. These values founded a lifelong principle that Paul shared with everyone who knew him; his family always came first. Paul is remembered as a patient man, with kindness to spare. He is a shining reflection of God’s light, a beacon to his family and inspiration to all who knew him. He will always be celebrated as a loving husband, father, grandfather and Cookie Monster.
