GRAVESIDE SERVICES – 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2013, at the Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed with Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in McLean, officiating.
INTERMENT – Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Paul was born July 5, 1923 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Paul William and Lela Faye Brien Kunce. He married Lolita Dela Rosa on February 11, 1969 in the Philippines. Paul had devoted his life to the armed forces serving in the Navy, Marines, and Air Force. He was a Sergeant with the Marines and a Staff Sergeant with the Airforce. He was a veteran of World War II, Vietnam, and Korea. Paul retired from the Air Force on August 1, 1970. He moved from Long Beach, California to McLean in 1984. Paul enjoyed motorcycles, gardening, and most of all, his grandchildren.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; and his sister, Wanda Blakey.
SURVIVORS - his wife, Lolita Kunce, of McLean; 2 daughters, Geenie Gabehart of Stratford, Suzie McDonald of Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Ronnie Kunce of Anaheim, California; and 8 grandchildren, Jon McAnear, Trent McAnear, Trey Gabehart, Tom Gabehart, Kacy Gabehart, Hunter McDonald, Aidan McDonald, and Asher Farber.
The family request memorials be sent to The Bridge in Amarillo.
