Paul Edward King, of Wheeler, TX, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 in Amarillo, TX at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 16 days. Private burial will be held in Buffalo Cemetery in Sweetwater, OK.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Paul was born on June 18, 1963 in Heavener, OK to Fair Dean and Mary Elizabeth (Hall) King. He was raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1981. Paul was a kind man who was loved by those who knew him and anyone he came in contact with him. He was a longtime resident of Wheeler Nursing and Rehab in Wheeler, where he loved the staff and enjoyed helping them take care of the other residents. He was a simple man whose three favorite things were Diet Coke, Pringles and cigarettes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fair Dean King and Mary Elizabeth King.
Survivors include his sister, Angela Davis and husband, Terrill, of Sweetwater, OK; 2 brothers, Joseph Dean King and wife, Bonnie, of North Carolina and Mark Allen King of Duncan, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
