Patsy Ruth Woodard's Obituary
Patsy Ruth Woodard, 87, of Memphis, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Travis Baptist Church, with Rev. Anthony Knowles officiating. Burial will follow at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley.
Viewing will take place on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Patsy was born on January 28, 1938, in Dallas County, Texas, to Harley and Joyce Mae Petty. She married Bolton Ray Woodard on March 13, 1956, in Hedley, Texas. A longtime resident of Memphis, Patsy worked as a grocery store clerk prior to her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was well-known for her green thumb. She was a faithful member of Travis Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who passed in 1999; her son, Charles Ray Woodard; four brothers; and one sister.
Patsy is survived by her sons, Ricky Woodard of Memphis and Glen Woodard and wife Cindy of Memphis; her daughters, Sheri Richards of Memphis and Vicki Woodard of Memphis; five grandchildren, Brandon Richards and wife Carol, Michael Woodard, James Shank and wife Vennesa, Brian LaLonde and wife Jerrica and Amanda LaLonde; fifteen great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hall County Home Delivered Meals.
