Patsy Darlene Wallace "Mamaw" Robertson's Obituary
CLARENDON SERVICES - 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in the First Baptist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Bill Hodges, Pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene and Rev. Matthew Stidham, Pastor of the First Assembly Of God, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Mamaw went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at her home which she loved very much. She was born September 17, 1936 to Leo Leniel and Ima Poovey Wallace in Heald, Wheeler County, Texas. She attended schools in Ashtola and Clarendon and graduated from Clarendon High School in 1953. She married Delbert Wayne Robertson on August 8,1953 in Clarendon. She was a co-owner of Robertson Funeral Directors since 1977. She was a Sunday School teacher for approximately 50 years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Clarendon. She was a loving wife, mother, and Mamaw. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; a daughter in law, Edie Robertson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. SURVIVORS- her husband, Delbert of Clarendon; a daughter, Debbie Thompson and husband Michael of Clarendon; a son, Patrick Robertson and wife Vicky of Clarendon; 3 grandchildren, Greg Collins of Howardwick, Tiffanie Word and husband Cameron, and Chuck Robertson and wife Lindsey all of Clarendon; 4 great-grandchildren, Abi & Maci Collins of Ponchatula, Louisiana, Gavin & Aiden Word both of Clarendon; a special grandson, Brayden Phillips of Clarendon; and numerous cousins. MEMORIALS - The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's Church of choice or to the Clarendon, Howardwick, or Hedley Volunteer Fire Departments or the Clarendon EMS.
