SERVICES – 10:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2015 in the Claude Church of Christ with Shawn Johnson, officiating. INTERMENT – Claude Cemetery in Claude. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude. Vistation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday at Robertson Armstrong Chapel. Pat was born July 20, 1949 in Amarillo to Morris and Ruth Glenna Martin. He married Barbara Sue Russ on January 17, 1969 in Amarillo. He grew up in Amarillo and was a graduate of Palo Duro High School. After high school, he went to Oklahoma Panhandle State University on a football scholarship. He had worked for Santa Fe Railway Centralized Welding Plant and was a safety assistant for BNSF prior to his retirement. He loved football, baseball, loved raising pigs and dorper sheep. He was a big supporter for 4-H and local kid activities. He had been a resident of Claude since 1983 and was a member of the Claude Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; and an infant sister, Diane Jane. SURVIVORS – his wife, Sue Martin of Claude; a son, Patrick Martin, Jr. and wife Erin of Lake Jackson; a daughter, Kristy Horn and husband James of Claude; a brother, Jon Martin of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Cynthia Nix and husband Stan of Porter, Annette Martin of McKinney, Darlene Martin and Mary Donaldson and husband Raymond all of Amarillo; his brothers in law, Mike Russ and wife Sherry of Bushland, Dale Moore and wife Judie of Amarillo, Ronnie Moore and wife Cindy of Canadian; 3 grandchildren, Aubrey MaKenna Martin, Hunter Cole Martin, and Seth Garrett Horn; 2 adopted grandchildren, Abigail Lee Miller and Brooklynn Paige Crumet; and numerous nieces and nephews. MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the Claude EMS Association, Claude Church of Christ, or Armstrong County 4-H.
