MEMORIAL SERVICES- 11:00 a.m. Friday April 2, 2010 at Whiteface Church of Christ with Rev. Harold Harrison of Whiteface, TX officiating.
INURNMENT- 3:00 p.m. Saturday April 3, 2010 at Clear Fork Cemetery in Lueders, TX.
Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
She passed away Monday March 29, 2010 in Lubbock, TX. She was born July 1, 1940 in Lancaster, CA. She married George E. Cox, Sr in Las Vegas, NV on August 17, 1968.
Pat held many jobs through out her life. She was a hairdresser, housekeeper and most recently was a cook for Cal Farley’s Girlstown in Whiteface, TX until her retirement due to health reasons in 2000. Her most prized occupation was her children and being a “MiMi” to her nine grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by the love of her life husband George E. Cox, Sr. on June 28, 2009. She is also preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Cleo Wall, one sister Barbara Tyrell and one brother Herbert O. Wall, Jr.
Pat is survived by two son’s James Herbert Cox and wife Susan of Ralls, TX. George Edward Cox, Jr. and wife Wanda of Whiteface, TX. One daughter Patti Lynn Cox Nisbet and husband James of Whiteface, TX. Nine grandchildren Andrew and John Cox of Ralls, TX. Brandon, Kaylee, Karissa and Kadie of Whiteface, TX. Kyle, Courtney and Katelyn Nisbet of Whiteface, TX. Mrs. Cox was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of her latest grandchild Meckenzie Lynn Cox scheduled to arrive in April. She is also survived by two sisters Phyllis (Ray) Smith of Lancaster, CA and Marion (Stan) Washburn of Lebanon, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials and donations be made to Joe Arrington Cancer Center for Cancer Research in Lubbock, TX or Cal Farley’s Girlstown in Whiteface, TX.
