SERVICES- 9:00 AM Friday, August 7, 2009 in the Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories in Clarendon with Mr. Ferguson's Brothers, officiating.
INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Oscar Lee Ferguson, 75, born March 23, 1934 to Lillian and Mack Ferguson in Greenville, New Mexico, moved into his mansion on August 4, 2009. Oscar graduated from high school in Memphis, Texas in 1952. Following graduation, he moved to Weatherford, Texas where he attended college. Oscar served his country in the US Navy on the USS N.K. Perry after his tour of duty he moved to Amarillo and worked fro the Maywood Company until his retirement. Oscar was a member of the VFW and the Assembly of God Church. Oscar’s love, sharp wit and insightful stories will be greatly missed by his family and friends
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents.
SURVIVORS- a son, Lee Ferguson of Portales, New Mexico; a daughter, Debbie Lewis of Amarillo; 5 brothers, Gary Ferguson of Memphis, Roger Ferguson of Pueblo, Colorado, John Ferguson of Mansfield, Doug Peters of Amarillo, and Danny Peters of Gardendale; 4 grandchildren and great grandchildren and loving numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
