GRAVESIDE SERVICES – Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2:30 pm in Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed with Rev. Thacker Haynes officiating.
INTERMENT- Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Oran was born on August 10, 1922 in McLean to Tony and Leona Neal Dorsey. He married Ruby Muriel King on April 13, 1946 in Muleshoe. He served in the United States Air Force. He worked most of his life as cowboy and farmer. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the McLean Care Center for taking care of Mr. Dorsey and his family throughout the years.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents, his wife, his son Oran Jay Dorsey Jr., 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
SURVIVORS – he is survived by a niece Rose Yount of Alanreed, a nephew Don Charles Dorsey and family, and friends Aaron and Arica Lancaster and family of Mobeetie.
MEMORIALS- in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent a charity of your choosing.
