I worked with Olen for many years in the oil and gas build ing Compressor Stations. At first the old man didn't like me. One evening driving back to our trailers in Colorado he ha gotten a flat and I followed him home and I changed his tire in the snow and put in my truck to get it fixed the nexted day. The next morning and from that time on he put me under his wing an taught me so very much of the oil and gas. As years went by we became good friends and stopped by and talked and grabbed coffee in Pampa or lunch. His favorite saying was " Fight them fair !". He was a great mentor and friend.
