Aunt Bernice was a wonderful spirit that had a deep love for the Lord, her family and her friends I recall on a visit to Texas being at the Stice Gtocery watching and listening to the Stice "kids"; my mom Fayrene, Aunt Lenora, Uncle Noah and of course Aunt Bernice, sitting together in one of the booths reminiscing about growing up on the Texas plains. Throughout the day many people would walk into the store to be greeted by Aunt Bernice and her big smile and usually with a cup of coffee. I don't think there were many strangers in her life. We stayed the night there and were awakened at the crack of dawn by Aunt Bernice marching into the room with cups of piping hot coffee delivered to our bedside with a "good morning, time to get up". She had fun reminding us that she was our only aunt that served us coffee in bed, she left out at the crack of dawn! It still brings a smile to my face. That is what Aunt Bernice did made us smile and it is with a smile I remember her. God bless. Vivian and Jess Travis
