Graveside services for Norval Lavon Williams are scheduled for Thursday, December 31, 2020, 11AM, at the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Texas.
Viewing will be held at Robertson Funeral Directors in Wheeler on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, 9AM-6PM.
Norval Lavon Williams was born on June 7, 1936 in Comanche, Oklahoma, to Arlie and Gertrude Williams. He gained his wings and walked tall through the gates of heaven on December 28, 2020. Lavon married his wife Wanda on August 17, 1957 in Anton, Texas. He then graduated top student at Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in the class of 1966. They moved to Wheeler in 1974 where Lavon was a Soil Conservationist. He was a proud Wheeler County Farmer and won the Wheeler County Farmer of the Year award. He was also extremely proud to be a Master Mason 3rd Degree of 51 years and apart of Scottish Rites since 1975. He was a Baptist man who loved his family more than anything in the world. He loved to tell stories and absolutely loved to ride his motorcycle up and down Highway 83.
Meeting him at heaven’s gate is his parents, Arlie and Gertrude Williams; 1 daughter, Donna Sue; 3 sisters, Wanda, Bonnie, and Doris.
He is survived by his wife if 63 years, Wanda and their 6 generations of family including, 3 daughters, Sharon Patterson and husband Terry of Shamrock, Texas, Brenda Leigh and husband Jeff of Pampa, Texas, and Teresa Harmon and husband Matt of Mobeetie, Texas; 7 Grandchildren, Brandi, Misti, Taryn, Clint, Shayla, Shannon, and Allison; 10 Great-Grandchildren, Shai, Alex, Tessa, Tre, Melody, Nathan, Emsley, Jamison, Sarissa, and Cassidy; 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Ray’Lynn, Raikynn, Atiana, Pandora, Lilly, and another on the way.
