Nicholas Alan Burrow's Obituary
Nicholas Alan Burrow, age 43, of Midland, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, while hospitalized in Dallas. He died of sepsis from fungal pneumonia that was not diagnosed until he was too weak to recover. Nick was born June 2, 1981, in Elk City, OK to Lloyd Burrow and Karla (Nance) Burrow. He grew up in Midland and graduated from Midland High School before attending Texas Tech University. Nick met Kristen while in Lubbock and they returned to Midland where they have enjoyed 19 years together. They have a daughter, Harper, who is nine.
Nick worked as a mechanic and loved hotrods and fast cars. He loved talking cars and working on them for his abundant network of very loyal friends. Nick was always smiling and lived life on his terms. We call it "Nick Time" because he couldn't be rushed into anyone else's time schedule. Harper was his world and he fought with everything he had to make it home to her. They family appreciates so much the support they are receiving from everyone.
Nick is survived by his wife Kristen, daughter Harper, parents Lloyd and Karla Burrow all of Midland, and his brother Randy of Denton. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ben and Nell Burrow and Jim and Nelda Nance.
